EDUCATION 68-74: Wallingford Grammar School. 7 O levels. Summer 1974: RAF Cadets Gliding A&B License. 74-76: Abingdon College of Further Education. 3 A levels: Maths, Physics and Computer Science. Summer 1975: RAF Flying scholarship award. CAA PPL 76-79: University of Kent, Canterbury.
BSc (Hons) Computers and Cybernetics. 79-80: Delivery pilot for the Pilots Country Club, based in Fort Worth.Also several summers from 76 to 79, driving a fork lift truck to pay for additional flight training. EMPLOYMENT 80-85: CSE Aviation / Oxford Air Training School. Sponsored flying instructor (OATS paid for all training) 5 year contract teaching pilots for various middle east air forces and private customers of CSE for PPL and instrument ratings. Also worked part time for the marketing and sales dept during the winters. CAA Senior CPL (ATPL equivalent), instrument rating and multi engine instructors rating.
85-90: Airship Industries (UK) LTD. Joined as flight test co pilot for test flying of Skyship series. Qualified as full captain in 1986. PIC Fuji tour, Resorts Casino, Australia transit flights and Samsung Korea. Promoted training captain then flight standards manager. CAA & FAA designated examiner.
90-02:SAILING AND FISHING. Pacific Seacraft Dana 24, North and South Atlantic circle from Florida, Bermuda, Azores and Canary Islands, for a few years sport fishing as deckhand. 2nd cruise to Brazil for a year then Caribbean, Bermuda and back to Canary Islands. Captain Billfish Fever 2, a Cris Craft 46 fishing for Marlin and Tuna for few years. 2nd Yacht: Dicha, a steel Van der Stadt 34 3 year singlehanded circumnavigation (See sailing page) Last year as first officer of Starry Night an Oyster 72, sailing around Med, N.Atlantic, Caribbean and Ireland.

2011: Hybrid Air Vehicles Ltd (UK) Part time contracts as a consultant for the LEMV and civil HAV programs. (P1 time on HAV 3 and nearly 100 hrs on the HAV304 simulator)
